We give you your own Linux server, in your own account, and we treat you like a person while we do it. The name is the promise.
Who is EmpathyHost for?
Two kinds of people. Builders, who ship websites, web apps and automations with Claude Code, Lovable, n8n or by hand, and want a real server with root, SSH, Docker and git. And entrepreneurs, who run a local or online business and want their site somewhere quick and looked after. The name came from a simple idea. Most hosting is a dashboard and a ticket queue. We wanted hosting that remembers there is a person on the other side.
How EmpathyHost works
EmpathyHost is built on the xCloud platform. You get your own account and your own Linux server, and both are yours: you hold the login, you pick the region, you decide what runs on it. The platform handles patching, backups and SSL. We move your site across for free and answer your questions when you message us. One, two or five websites for $25, $40 or $80 a month USD.

Mike Kwal, founder of MK-Way, is EmpathyHost's brand ambassador. He is both of the people we build EmpathyHost for: an entrepreneur with a company to run, and a builder who ships websites from Claude Code. You will spot him around the site, sometimes in an armchair on a cloud. When you message us, the EmpathyHost team writes back.
